FAITH COMES WITH JOY

Hebrew 12: 1,2 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weigh, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Read that closely, it is a testament of the love that Jesus has for us. “who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross”. Jesus ran the race with joy because He knew that the cross would give complete joy. It would give all of us the right to also go before the throne of God. Because of the prize He was willing to endure that cross.

Are we willing to look past the circumstances and keep our eyes on the other side of the cross? Yes we do have crosses to bare, but the joy is in knowing that beyond the cross is God. And with God, yes with Him , beside Him, not under Him, nor behind Him we can, yes we can conquer anything that comes our way.

What is the prize? Surely it is us and our salavation. It is for us to have the same relationship with God that Jesus had, to walk and talk with Him. And let me say this, there will be times that we will not hear from Him. Yes , but He also says He will not put more on us then we can bare. If I have His word, then do I need a miracle? There is nothing on this earth that can keep me from the love of Jesus, but me!

My joy is in the Lord and yes I do desire to hear from Him always, but if I never hear His sweet voice again, if I never hear anything from Him—I know that He is mine, and I am His. I have His words to guide me, I have His promises to keep me, I have His joy in my heart and nothing , but nothing can take away the love of my Lord.

God Bless
