PHARISEES

I was watching TBN last night (August 20, 2007) and listened as Paul Crouch, Jr read a letter from a 28 year old man expressing the desire to find a good God believing, God fearing, Bible teaching Church. He has contacted some places of so called worship and once they hear his story and look upon him, they reject him. Why? He has done a lot of bad things in his in life and is spending and has spend many years in the prison system. He also stated that he has tattoo's from his eyes down to his feet. He has done as the Bible has instructed us all to do CONFESS OUR SINS not only to God but to his brethren also.

I have something to say, as usual, about this whole situation. SHAME ON THOSE PLACES AND PEOPLE WHO HAVE REJECTED THIS MAN. My goodness don't you understand that rejection is the greatest tool satan has to keep people from God? It lets us know that they have set themselves up as the Pharisees did. It is quite obvious that these people and places don't know or care what Jesus said and felt about the Pharisees. Luke 18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. Mark 2:16-17 And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eat with publicans and sinners, they said unto his disciples, How is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners? 17) When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Well, do tell, who did Jesus say He came to call? THE SINNERS. You righteous people aren't accepting His word now, just as they didn't accept the Word when Jesus was down here walking amongst and teaching them from His own mouth!

I realize the Bible tells us in Lev 19:28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I [am] the LORD. You righteous people don't you understand that he wasn't seeking the will of the Lord when he made those marks upon his body? He didn't know he was doing wrong. I am sure ya'll have let him know in no uncertain terms how wrong he is.

He doesn't need to hear how wrong he is or was but let him hear the word of God. God takes us as we ARE. Not as what other people wants us to be. He needs LOVE, the true love of God. He has tasted your version of love, and from his own words, it has left a bitter taste in his mouth. As it should. You poor blind outwardly appearing righteous people are in a worse state that he is.

So you are part of the "normal" standard of this world? Which means that you are holding on to the society of the world. Do you know what John had to say about that? 1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things [that are] in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. And 1 John 3:17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels [of compassion] from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

Yes, you poor self righteous ones out there, I am going to contact TBN and ask them to please give him our e mail address so we can talk to him and let him know that there are 2 more women out here that wants desperately to talk to him, to show him what God's LOVE is all about. Alas, even so he will know that we aren't part of this "normal" world.

rECj and I are praying with ever fiber of our body, mind and soul that ya'll haven't turned him so far away from God that he can no longer be reached.

We are giving you scripture to chew on for a while. Praying all the while that you will take it to your own hearts. Come on down off your high horse and realize that you are not the judge and jury of this man. He is calling out to God. Lets us help him in any way we can.

Matthew 23:13-15; 27;
But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in [yourselves], neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
14) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
15) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
23) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier [matters] of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
27) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead [men's] bones, and of all uncleanness.
28) Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
29) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
Luke 11:44
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over [them] are not aware [of them].
