ROSE AND LINDA'S BLOG SUNDAY EDITORIAL
In case you forgot it is one hour earlier then you think it is, if you forgot to turn your clocks back. Remember Spring forward Fall back. We thank God for today as tomorrow is not promised to us, and yesterday cannot be redone. In light of that we do feel that this is going to be the most talked about election in the history of the USA. Not only has it been almost nose to nose, now we have the added problem of many without electricity, who we believe will not be able to vote. Can this be fair? Personally myself, if my family was homeless with only the clothes on our back I do not believe going to vote would be on the top of my list. They canceled the NY marathon. I don't think that would be on the top of my list either. We did have a Catholic church Festival here in town, but this is Louisiana. They party for any reason. I might live here, but I don't party for any reason like that. What many will do is go give God His hour, to hour and a half and come home for a football game or whatever else you do on Sunday. And be thankful we have the rest of the week to ourselves. Many will not do that time as they have plans. Are we really that selfish of a country? Why do we wonder what is happening to us, our children, our leaders? What pray tell is it going to take for this country to open its eyes and fall to its knee's in an act of repentance and turn back to the One that blessed this country to begin with? Hello God can You hear me now? God Bless recj/LJG
