ACTS 2:23-24 BIBLE VERSE OF THE DAY
This man was handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross. But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.– Acts 2:23-24 (NIV)

The Bible teaches that the wages of sin is death, so what happens when someone dies who has never sinned? Death would have no right to take that person. That had never happened before or since, but Jesus Christ, the second person of the Triune God, came with the purpose of dying. Jesus lived the life that we couldn’t live; yet died the death that we all deserve and broke the hold of death. He stands alone as the Savior and Lord of the earth.
