The book of Hebrews tells us that the Scripture is a two edged sword that is living and active and can divide the thoughts and intentions of our heart. As we speak the Scripture from our mouths we engage both our soul and those around us with the power of the Holy Spirit. Don’t underestimate what happens when we speak the promises of God in the face of the enemy. It works like a sword that makes its way through fear, doubt, or confusion and clarifies faith, hope and love.
