ROSE AND LINDA'S JOURNAL WHAT NOW LORD

You have asked the Lord into your life and the world is beautiful and life is wonderful all the time.  Well maybe somebody forgot to tell you a few things.  It is now the morning after and while you have made a commitment to live for the Lord, the world has continued to go right on the way it was going.  Your best friend has already got everything lined up to hit the clubs on Friday when you get off work.  Your Mom has already planned Tuesday night dinner for you to meet this real nice unsaved guy she met at the grocery store.  And last but not least your boss who is married with 3 children has decided that today is the day he will tell you he is interested in you.

The attack is on and how are you prepared for it.  We sincerely hope no one gets blind sided this fast, but you have made an enemy.  The devil is mad and is ready to try to make you fall.  What do you do, immediately start preparing yourself.

Jesus was tempted in 3 ways and He defeated him each time with scripture.  If Christ saw fit to meet the devil this way, how much more do you think it will work for you.  The Word of God is the mighty weapon that you need to carry with you at all times. Not the Bible under your arm but the Word of God in your heart.  "It is written...'  and  "Thus said the Lord..."

Your only hope to withstand an attack is to resort to God's word.  Read the Word, study the Word, plant the Word in your heart. Then when you are faced with the problems of the world , you will be prepared to stand on His Word, and He will see you through.
