ROSE AND LINDA'S JOURNAL TALK TO ME LORD
Have you ever felt this way? If you could just hear Him say the Words that would give you peace and comfort. Words that would ease your heart. Matthew 4:4 He answered, "It is written: "Man must not live on bread alone, but on every Word that comes from the mouth of God."
Talk to me Lord. speak to me so I know what to do or say about any and everything that is happening in my life, in my family, friends, the world. Talk to me and let me know what I should or should not do. Tell me Lord what is Your will in the matters that affect my life are.
As children we were blessed in being told that there was nothing, no nothing, that is not covered in the Bible. That is a fact that is just as true today as it was over 60 years ago when we were told it. From abandoned to zoology and everything in between, it is covered in the Bible.
History and genealogy are not the only things covered. The Bible contains instructions, guidance, deliverance, sadness and happiness. Then we have the love stories. Yes, the wonderful stories of God's love for others and you and me. Have you thought to read Solomon as a story of God's love for you and your love for Him?
Back in the days before internet and phones we wrote to others. That is what God's Word is in the Bible. Letters to us His beloved. There is a song that goes "Getting to know Him, getting to know all about Him, getting to love Him." The Bible is His story passed down through the ages to us His children, so that we would know of Him personally.
The next time you have a need, or maybe just don't know what to say, look to His Word. The answer is there. Most all Bibles have a Concordance in the back, look for a word, you can also go on-line and look. It is possible to type in a word and type Bible Scriptures after and it will show you the Scriptures.
Remember it's in there. Talk to me Lord.
God Bless.
