Have you ever been frustrated because you felt that God was waiting too long against injustice? The anchor to the sentiment of this passage is in the description of God. He is the sovereign Lord, holy and true. Not only is God over the affairs of men, his timing is holy and true, even if it frustrates us at the moment.
