ROSE AND LINDA'S JOURNAL
CONCERNING THE RECENT PETITION TO IMPEACH OBAMA
We signed as many did a petition to address impeachment proceedings against our President. From the letters we have received from Congress and House members alike there are no grounds, even though the grounds were listed in the petitions.
Where does that leave us. The answer is really quite simple. The Bible instructs us to pray for our leaders. Now Obama and others in political office do not have to listen to us, we have found that out. The one that can and will change their minds is the Lord. We have to remember that we are in the world but not of the world. Our recourse is to obey the Laws of God first and the laws of the land second.
Being that our petitions are going unanswered we shall turn to the Laws of God Almighty. We have to come together in agreement to pray for our leader. The Bible instructs us that He is to take care of the problems and enemies we have.
We dare to remind you that once we give something to the Lord to take care of, we are not to turn back to it. We are to carry our Banners before us and remember that God alone has our back.
What we take this to mean is we are to place our President on the altar and leave him there. What does this entail; that means we are to leave him there, to pray for him, and once we have prayed and stood our grounds we need to stand in Praise to the Lord for what we have asked Him for.
We also need to remember that God does have a plan, and a few even one can stand boldly in righteousness before the Lord and those prayers will be answered. How much more so if many across this nation, if we stand in agreement together.
The point we need to stress here is being righteous before the Lord. We can not in agreement go before Him having sin upon us. To enter into this realm of prayer we need to ask forgiveness of our sins, so that we are Holy and Righteous before the Lord. Then and only then can we stand boldly across this country before our Lord and ask Him to repair this country in spite of those that stand against us even when they claim to know the truth, and say they stand with us. Unbelief and sin stops our prayers from being heard.
Instead of petitions that will go unanswered, let's join together in agreement that we shall pray for our leaders, and let God handle them. Sounds like a great plan to us, what do you think?
God Bless
