GIVEN OVER TO A REPROBATE MIND

WORD OF WISDOM

REPROBATE ~ That which is rejected on account of its own worthlessness (Jeremiah 6:30; Hebrews 6:8; Gr. adokimos, "rejected"). This word is also used with reference to persons cast away or rejected because they have failed to make use of opportunities offered them (1 Corinthians 9:27; 2 Corinthians 13:5-7).

What is wrong with the world today? Why is there so much going on that Christians know does not line up with the Word of God? Has God turned a deaf ear to those in the world?

I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for the power of God has given salvation to all who believe. It is to the righteous that GOD has revealed the truth, “The just shall live by faith.” The wrath of God is revealed against those who are unrighteous in His eyes, and who suppress the truth in unrighteousness. God has showed them the truth, so they have no excuse. Though they knew God they did not choose to glorify Him as God. They were not thankful. They were futile in their thinking, and their hearts were darkened. They claim to be wise, but they are fools. They changed the incorruptible God into an image of corruptible man and birds and four-footed animals and other things.

Therefore God also gave them up to unclean things. They followed the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor themselves among themselves. They exchanged the truth of GOD for lies and worshipped the creature instead of the Creator.

Because of their actions God gave them up to their vile passions. Even the women exchanged the natural use of their bodies for that which is against nature. Men also left the natural use of the woman. Burning in lust for one another, men with men doing what is shameful and by doing so receiving the penalty of their mistakes.

They did not like to retain knowledge of God, and God let them be given over to a debased mind, to do that which is not right: unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness. I continue, they are whisperers, backbiters, and haters of God Himself, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, and unmerciful.
They know the righteous judgment of God but choose to practice these things anyway, and because of this they deserve death, not only do they do these things but approve of others doing the same things.

Yes the Bible says also that I am not to judge. I am not judging those who do these things. I am stating what the Lord says are the reason people do what they do.

Churches are compromising to make the people happy. Jesus loved everyone, yes, but He also said go and sin no more. He came to fulfill the Word not to change the Word.

What is wrong with the world? People want and choose to live their way not God’s way. The decision is yours, which do you choose. To live lies is to die and go to hell. To ask Jesus into your life means to live by His Laws not yours, but the reward is heaven. The choice is yours, the Laws are His. You cannot change His Word to make yourself happy.

The Bible is the only true inspired Word of God. It is not to be added to nor anything taken away.

You can go to Romans chapter 1 and read the letter Paul wrote to the Romans, that is where my letter to you came from. This letter written 2000 years ago applies today just as it did then. And it is the answer to why the world is the way it is today. People did not want to listen then and they don’t want to listen now.
