WHATEVER/WHERE ARE YOU?

PSALM 22

My God, My God, why have You forsaken me?
Why are You so far from helping me,
And from the words of my groaning?

There is nothing wrong with laying claim to having said this. There are few and far between that do not feel at sometime to have been left behind by the Lord. Oh that we have a Lord who loves us so much that yes He even listens when we cry out like this. To forgive and then forget. We believe that the Lord is the only one that really does the forget part. As hard as we try, we remember. Hopefully we will use those experiences to reach out to others and let them know there is a life after. Maybe we would be better at letting go, and letting God, instead of hoping to forget..

Letting go, allows us to be released from pain and continue on forward on a new and better path. Believe us when we say that asking God to forgive us is the first step in letting go. Once we bring something to the Lord, He begins a work in us. We have used this expression before that is well worth repeating: God does not take anything of value away from us, without replacing it with something of equal value. Of course we as humans sometime don't see what is right in front of us, because after all holding onto 'whatever' is a habit that is hard to let go of. It is in the act of letting go, even if it is just saying the words that we can begin to see the work that God is doing. If 'whatever ' is hanging around you after you have asked God to forgive you then ask the Lord to help you 'let go', He is there, He hears and He will answer.

God Bless
