PRAY FOR OUR PRESIDENT
Come on don't get angry with me. The Bible says to pray for our leaders and we can all see very clearly that this person needs all our prays. The Bible also tells us it is okay to get angry [remember JESUS in the temple] but we are to sin not.
Well I will tell you how angry I am. I had taken a few days off. No writing, just time with the family and myself. This made me come out of my hole. Look as Christians we have to speak out. Again and again we see this person removing traditions that this country has celebrated for years.
Now understand us on this. Traditions are practices that we pass down from generation to generation. We believe in God and follow His word. We also have traditions in our families that do not separate us from God, if anything they strengthen us and our families, and in doing so bring us closer to God.
What makes me so angry right now is if you ask almost any religious group they will tell you there is one God. That includes those that do not believe in Jesus Christ, or believe that He was born of a virgin and died for our sins. So by not mentioning God this person is not only insulting Christians , he is insulting every religious group there is. That is except for those that do not believe in a supreme being.
Think about that for a bit. What does it bring to mind about our President? You decide for yourself.
The President of the United States of America is suppose to represent all of the people, not to put his personal views on us. That would have been like President John F. Kennedy asking us all to be catholic. Get a grip, we are different.
God the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, God who took the form of a human to come to this earth and be killed for our sins, not any of his own sins, as He had none. My sins, and yes your sins. Think about that for a bit. Think of everything wrong thing you have ever done or for that matter thought. Jesus was beat for those sins, each and every one of them. Would you stand by while someone took credit for something your son did. Be angry but sin not. Pray again I ask that you pray for this person.
And no we do not call him a man. We will say he is our President, but NO we will not call him anything but a person. [That is within our rights as American Citizens]
God Bless
