ROSE AND LINDA'S BLOG HYPOCRISY

We are hoping you read Ms Churchie and enjoyed her.  She is Hypocrisy at it's best.  She looks like a Christian, talks like a Christian, acts like the best Christian you will ever meet.  She will take any scripture she needs twist and confuse it into believing she is not wrong.  All the while making sure that she is noticed.  She is a character that was created and has performed in a couple of church skits .

Thomas R. Ybarra wrote , "A Christian is a man who feels repentance on Sunday for what he did on Saturday and is going to do on Monday."  The Bible tells us in Isaiah 29:13-14  Because this people draw near with their words, And honor Me with their lip service, But remove their hearts far from Me,And their reverence for Me consists of tradition learned by rote,Therefore behold, I will once again deal marvelously with this people, wondrously marvelous, And the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, And the discernment of their discerning men will be concealed.  Matthew 6:5 tells us ... When you pray, you are not to pray like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on street corners so that they might be seen by men.  truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.

When we do something for the Lord we do not need attention.  It should be between you and God.  In Matthew Jesus spoke on being a hypocrite.  Do not sound a trumpet when you help the poor.  When you pray, pray in your closet.  Fasting should be done with a clean face, so  others do not know you fast.  In Matthew 15:1-2 Jesus speaks of traditions, doing something because others do it, not because God said to do it.

What we do in life is to be done to please the Lord, not to please man.
