A BIT OF HUMOR

When Charlotte was pregnant with her third child, Gilda, her mother, came to help with the two boys, ages four and six. Gilda, who they called Nana, also cleaned and scrubbed until the whole house was shining. The smell of her favorite cleaning agents often lingered in the air. Three weeks after the baby was born, Nana returned to her own home.

Two days later Charlotte found some stains on the kitchen counter, so, while the baby slept, she used bleach to clean them up. Just then her four-year-old walked in and asked, "Where's Nana?!"

"She went home," Charlotte replied. "Don't you remember we took her to the airport?"

"Then why do I smell her perfume?" he asked.
