ENCOURAGEMENT FOR THE DAY
ORDINARY
“I'm just an ordinary man," he said.
I knew what he meant. He really was saying average. I don't believe in either ordinary or average. Average is for numbers, math class. The only place ordinary has in our life is right behind ‘extra.’ "EXTRAORDINARY!" How can anything God created be average? How can anyone be "ordinary?" I see the miracle in a grain of sand. I see beauty in a blade of grass. Did He not create both?
"You are not ordinary," I replied. "God does not make ordinary." He makes "brilliant!" He makes "dynamic." He makes even the meek powerful beyond measure. If we see ordinary, we choose to see it. If we feel average, we make it so. For each and every element in life is a miracle.
Therefore, if it is true that God created man in His image, how could anyone of us be less than extraordinary! Nothing average or ordinary about you!
"I wish you enough!"
