THE WORLD OF GOD IS RICH
WRITTEN BY SISTER SHIRLEY RHODES
The world of God is rich, wonderful and filled with promise. When we open our minds and hearts to allow His Spirit to fill us with radiant light, the outward expression will cause others to wonder about this awesome show of love our Heavenly Father so graciously bestows within his children; we are children of the King.
What we need to do is renew our way of thinking, our minds, and our thoughts every day. Someone may ask the question, “How am I supposed to do that?” The answer is, by entering into the presence of God, the Holy Spirit, to allow your needs to be ministered too. Study the Word of God, consider Jesus as your teacher, soon you will be able to take on and understand how he taught; we become learners. His word becomes our thoughts which are powerful enough to lift us above any circumstance or problem.
The World of God is rich in mercy and grace it allows us to focus our minds and hearts on what is provided and where we are destined to go. We are to stay focused on the prize and run this race with patience. God equips us with whatever we need to fight the raging battle that Satan attempts to use in order to derail us from reaching our assigned destiny, eternal life. Learning of what God’s world is like as we study and meditate, let’s not grow weary in well doing, knowing that grace and mercy will carry us when the load seems heavy or unbearable.
The World of God is Rich in love and by taking time to embrace all that surrounds us it is evident. Jesus fervently stressed the importance of love for each other. When we learn the art of unconditional love, we are able to see the world and people it consists of as ourselves, designed for purpose. As we journey through life God watches over us, he never leaves us hopeless. What he has prepared and shaped is always there; we must humble ourselves and in obedience ask and wait for the promise.
When we are able to allow God to do his work within us, we are able to rest, assured that whatever he has promised will come to past. Embrace him, share your dreams and thoughts with him, because he is the source of all our strength and joy, he is our King.
