WORD OF WISDOM
HOPE ~ One of the three main elements of Christian character (1 Corinthians 13:13). It is joined to faith and love, and is opposed to seeing or possessing (Romans 8:24; 1 John 3:2). "Hope is an essential and fundamental element of Christian life, so essential indeed, that, like faith and love, it can itself designate the essence of Christianity (1 Peter 3:15; Hebrews 10:23). In it the whole glory of the Christian vocation is centred (Ephesians 1:18; 4:4)." Unbelievers are without this hope (Ephesians 2:12; 1 Thessalonians 4:13). Christ is the actual object of the believer's hope, because it is in his second coming that the hope of glory will be fulfilled (1 Timothy 1:1; Colossians 1:27; Titus 2:13). It is spoken of as "lively", i.e., a living, hope, a hope not frail and perishable, but having a perennial life (1 Peter 1:3). In Romans 5:2 the "hope" spoken of is probably objective, i.e., "the hope set before us," namely, eternal life (Comp. 12:12). In 1 John 3:3 the expression "hope in him" ought rather to be, as in the Revised Version, "hope on him," i.e., a hope based on God.

Galatians 2:20 (King James Version) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Colossians 1:26-27 (King James Version) 26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: 27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Ephesians 2:1, And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Philippians 4:19 (King James Version) But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 1:3 (King James Version) 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
We are crucified with Christ, we don’t have to try to do it, we are, and Christ lives in us. We were quickened and made alive with Him. Today we sit in a position with Christ in heavenly places. All our needs are supplied.
It does not say He is going to bless us with anything-it says He says He already has. What this means is that from the time you were born again until you step into eternity, He has already made provision for you. Everything you need, He has already blessed you with. In The mind of Christ it is yours.
Step into the provisions that have been set up for you His children, they are found in His Word. Find them and make them into reality in your life in Christ to the glory of God the Father.
God Bless,

THINK ON THIS
The valley of the shadow of death holds no darkness for the
child of God. There must be light, else there could be no
shadow. Jesus is the light. He has overcome death.

Thank you my rECj for using Philippians 4:19. That scripture doesn't say "He will supply all our needS, it say He will supply your need. I have misquoted this verse for many years. Have you? LJG
