ROSE AND LINDA'S BLOG WE ARE FREE TO PROCLAIM

Tonight was one of those nights where I wish I had the nerve and ability to go outside and run around the block shouting 'I am free to love Christ in public'. I have been doing a personal study, and it just came to me as I laid in bed, propped up on three pillows, fan lightly blowing soft air around the room, that while there are many of us that can do this, there are many more that can not. I was comfortable, relaxed and enjoying reading from one of my many Bibles. And the rest of the story... Somewhere right now there is a man on a bike going to a village maybe 20 miles from his home and family. It is hot and dry, the ground is dust, but he rides on. He knows that if he is stopped and asked, he will tell the truth that he is 'about my Father's business.' This will cause him to be beaten, maybe thrown in jail, or even killed. When he arrives in the village he will look for the sign that will let him know 'this is a safe house'. Greatly welcomed, others will show up as it becomes time for him to preach and teach. He has hidden the Word in his heart ,as to carry a Bible means a certain death and he has to many people he wants to reach. Children will fall asleep on the dirt floor, but the people encourage him to not stop. They want to hear the Word as much as he wants to share it. This visit might last from 3 to 5 days before he will return to his family and home; only to repeat more trips each week as he is called to come to another place. True yes, even in our world today. Yes, I want the world to know. How about you? Well what are we doing to help? God Bless recj/LJG
