A BIT OF HUMOR
Yesterday I shared about our visit to encourage injured Marine recruits at boot camp last Saturday ( http://uneeknet.com/mcrd/easter/2013 ). In response I got this very cool email from Funnies reader Sue: "I've always been grateful for what you and your friends do for the injured Marine recruits at MCRD, just out of principle. Young men, many away from home for the first time, injured while trying to pursue a new career? God bless 'em! And God bless you for ministering to them. But 10 days ago, my nephew, a new recruit at MCRD, landed in the MRP (Medical Rehab Platoon) with a stress fracture in his leg. It occurred to me on Monday afternoon that you and your crew probably delivered a card to him on Saturday. Which leads me to this: sometimes your 'Funnies' make me cry, but this is the first time your service to our injured recruits has made me cry. Thank you for what you do - it was significant before it impacted my family and treasured after it impacted my family. May the Lord bless your kindness a thousand-fold." Thanks! Without hesitation, the son replied, "That's easy, one for the clutch and one for the accelerator." [forwarded by John Jaeger] ============================ I know a guy who's addicted to brake fluid.
