ROSE AND LINDA'S JOURNAL USING OUR FINANCES WISELY

This morning the Lord laid this on our minds.  How many of us support small Christian owned businesses?  Now we all know that a loaf of bread is higher at the neighborhood store, but do we stop to think why?  It is closer, friendlier, and will usually carry a item if we ask for it.  When we think about it what we save in gas money is more then made up by what we buy. There are other businesses that are owned by Christians, everything from lawn care to home builders. The over head might be higher because they are not a big corporate company, but the benefits outweigh the bigger companies. 

As Christians we should know that our money comes from God.  If we are supporting small Christian businesses then we are planting our God given money in good soil, God's soil. We know that when we plant our money in God's soil, we are promised a very good return on our investment. 

Think about that the next time you to go to choose a company or place of business to deal with.  We don't know about you, but as for our self's we will support Christian businesses and plant seed while we are at it.
