 REALLY NOT OUR BUSINESS

 

We live in a country with a system of government, with elected officials that make and set laws.  It is our business to know whom we are voting for and how they stand on issues concerning our life's. It is our business to inform these officials when we disagree with their stand.  Our system of government declares and allows that we be innocent until admitting guilt or found guilty.  Even in this our system fails at times.  No matter what the verdict, everyone will not agree.

 

POINT: If we are not on the jury, we do not have a say in the verdict.  It is not our business. 

 

What we can and should do as a Believer is pray.  Not for the dead.  The dead is dead, their time for prayers are over.  It is only for the living we should pray.  Pray for the living, families of the victims  families of the accused.  And yes the person who committed the crime.

 

What it is not our business to do, is to forget anyone, less they not have a chance to be saved.  That includes all. 

 

It is not our business to tell God who can and cannot be forgiven.  Is it ours? 

 

The Bible tells us to pray for our enemies, it also tells us to love our enemies.  Not an easy thing to do, but what we are instructed to do.

 

When it comes down to whom God saves, It really is not our business.
