ROSE AND LINDA'S JOURNAL WHO IS YOUR RAINBOW
Only the books of Genesis and Revelation give a definition of the true meaning of a rainbow. The book of Ezekiel makes a reference to a rainbow.
"And God said: 'This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
"'I set My RAINBOW in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the RAINBOW shall be seen in the cloud; and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh. The RAINBOW shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.' ” (Genesis 9:12-16)
"I saw still another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a RAINBOW was on his head, his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire." (Revelation 10:1)
"Like the appearance of a RAINBOW in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord . . . " (Ezekiel 1:26-28)
As we look at these scriptures, what comes to your mind? After God brought the flood to remove sinful and evil-minded man from this earth what did He do? He placed a rainbow in the sky as a covenant between him and us that He would never destroy the earth again in that fashion. In Revelation it is used to describe the glory of the Lord God.
And us what do we take and use this symbol for? God have mercy that we "Christians" stand by and allow another symbol of our Lord be used for that which does not line up with his Word.
Ponder today on how the Bible was removed from our schools, Ten Commandments remove from public buildings less we insult some people. Now let us look at the following scripture.
1 Corinthians 6:9
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
The very symbol used to describe our Lord is used to represent gay pride.
ThInk about that.
