ROSE AND LINDA'S JOURNAL

SUFFICENT

Joshua 3:15
King James Version (KJV)
15 And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,)

The river Jordan overflows the entire time of the harvest.  Why was it important to tell us that?    It is important for us to realize when we are in fact in harvest, and we have responsibilities at harvest time.  Now that answer really doesn’t seem to line up with the scripture we have just read.  What is important for us to understand is that every single part of the Bible is insufficient without it’s other parts.  To have a whole, we must have all the parts.  While we can take scripture and read and understand the meaning of it, for us to have a full understanding of what we are reading we must and should look at the whole.

As Christians we are incomplete without all our parts. While we can be used by and of God until we are complete at the level He needs for us to be to do His will, we are incomplete.

All parts of the Bible are sufficient as a whole, there is nothing included in the Word that is insufficient.  Ponder on this for a bit.

God Bless
