ROSE AND LINDA'S JOURNAL GOD'S LOVE
GOD'S LOVE
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only son that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16
And for this very reason we should be celebrating His birth. He gave Himself because He wanted a personal relationship with each one of us. There should be no barriers between Him and us. As He told us in Jeremiah 31:34:
I will be their God, and they shall be my people. There will be no further need for neighbor to try to teach neighbor, or brother to say to brother, "Learn to know the Lord!" No, they will all know me, the least no less then the greatest-it is the Lord who speaks-since I will forgive their iniquity and never call their sin to mind."
Christmas Eve we have many traditions that we act out in our homes. Will it be the 'Story of the Birth of the Savior" or :The Christmas Story" that is read to the children? On Christmas morning in the hustle for children to get to their gifts will He "Jesus" even be a passing thought?
How many of you are willing to offer your child as a living sacrifice, if it would mean each could have the chance to have eternal life?
God Bless
