ACCEPTED
Holiness is our conduct. Righteousness is our right standing with God. Holiness is the way we act. Righteousness is the gift that was freely given to us by God when we asked His Son Jesus into our life’s. When God accepted Jesus work on the cross, He accepted all those who call on Jesus to be their Lord and Saviour. It is not something you can earn, it belongs to you, and at the cost Jesus paid.
God is obligated to accept us when we accept Jesus. Our conduct has nothing to do with it.
2 Corinthians 5:19 (King James Version)
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
God does not hold our trespasses against us. God has provided forgiveness to us by His Son. This letter was written to Christians to teach them how to maintain their fellowship with God.
1 John 2 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: John was referring to the sins of the Christian. He was instructing them in how to partake of Jesus advocate ministry. God is not holding our trespasses against us; He is calling us to make Jesus our Lord. He has accepted us on the basis of Jesus right-standing with Him.
Most of you reading this are citizens of the United States, and because of that we have certain rights that belong to us. As long as we obey the laws of the land, we are in right standing.
The same is true with God. As believers we are citizens of the kingdom of God, and we have a right to everything that is in the kingdom. EVERYTHING! There is a covenant between Jesus and God signed in the blood of the Lamb, which is Jesus. If Jesus is your Lord you are in right standing with God, whether you partake of it or not.
Luke 12: (King James Version)
32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
It brings God pleasure for you to have the kingdom of God. He desires to give it to you. And He will, if you but ask.
Tell your mountains to move. Don’t wait for God to move them; He has given you the rights to move them, yourself.
God Bless,
