BENEFITS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

We have complete total access to the ministry of Jesus; complete and total access to the Holy Spirit; complete and total access to all the father has. To receive all this from Him all we have to do is go to His Word. By not knowing our rights and privileges we have been easy targets for the devil. Therefore he could easily usurp authority over us. The Bible says though that we have the authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy [Luke 10:19]

Now I don’t know about you but I have decided to take a stand, and that stand is for Christ. I will not stand by and just let the devil take any thing else from me again. To do that I have to find out what the Bible says about the things in my life and then walk in line with it. We must renew our minds and put the force of righteousness to work in our life’s.

If we are led by what we see, or how we feel, we will fail. When we lean on the righteousness in Jesus that is within us, we know what belongs to us, and how to stand against the devil and his attacks. We must go to the Word concerning healing and receive it for ourself, and walk in it because it is the Word of our Father.

God is not a million miles away. He is right there inside you. He is your own Father. We are bone of His bones, spirit of His Spirit, a joint-heir with Jesus Christ, and living in the kingdom of God. Realizing this, we become God inside-minded.

Righteousness can then become the force of life of the believers, that guides our life’s. This reality enables us to do the impossible.

Jesus never wavered in His faith. Jesus never showed a lack of faith, nor an abundance of faith. His faith was just that faith. He knew who He was and took advantage of the authority that was His. And if you are thinking, “Well, He was the Son of God.” Then read Romans 8:14 “ For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are sons of God.”

If Philippians 2:15-16 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; 16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain has never been preached to you, then let me explain. There is no crooked or perverse generation in heaven. The only place like that is right here on earth. So this is where we are to be sons of God and hold forth the Word.

Philippians also tells us in chapter 2 verse 5: Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:. Jesus never stopped to think whether He had enough faith. He merely acted according to His rights. Okay Jesus knew the Bible word for word. Aren’t we told to write it on our hearts? Romans 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, Heb 10:16 This [is] the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; I have many times wrote it on an index card and carried it in my pocket. After a number of times I didn’t even have to take it out of my pocket. Jesus revealed what righteousness really is. His unconscious right-standing with God, Jesus walked with divine assurance.

Is it reasonable? No. Is it real? Yes, regardless of what the natural mind says, and it will work in the life of a Christian.

The righteousness of God in Jesus Christ is the driving force behind our faith, causing us to triumph in His Name.

Jesus triumphed over the devil in three areas. First in His earthly ministry. Jesus told him “It is written.” Matthew 4:4,7,10 and the devil had to obey the Word of God. Next at the cross and the resurrection, Jesus stripped the devil of his power and took away the keys of hell and death.

But the third and most important area of Jesus triumph over the devil is His victory in the new birth. In the devil’s thinking, it was impossible for God to take a man in sin, and turn him into righteousness, give him the armor of God and enable him to triumph as Jesus did. This is the victory of the highest order! Sin turned into righteousness! Death turned into life! God has the victory. God always has and always will.

God Bless,
