YOU'VE BEEN LIBERATED FROM SIN
One of our liberties is freedom from sin. Romans 6:14 promises, "For sin shall not have dominion over you, for ye are not under the law but under grace."
Yet, churches have preached that you're a sinner, saved by grace. I'm just an old sinner, Brother Jesse."
No, if you are born again, you're not an old sinner. The Bible says that sin will not have dominion over your. The words sin and satan are synonymouse. If you call yourself an old sinner, you're actually saying, "satan has dominion over me."
If you're sinning every day, you've got a sin problem, and you'd better get to the altar and make Jesus the Lord of your life---in deed, not just in word.
Romans 6:15-16 says it this way, "What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid."
"Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom you obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto rihteousness?"
People need to learn to take preventive medicine every day through the Word of God. The Bible says that it is health to your flesh. It also says that a merry heart does good like medicine. You need to learn to laugh.
"What if there isn't anything to laugh about?"
Sit down and look in the mirror. If you sit there long enough, something will strike you funny.
