GUARD YOUR HEART

Ecclesiastes 5 says that 'it is better not to vow than to vow and not pay.' The bottom line with commitment is that God desires for us to honor our commitments. I have found that if there is no harvest of consistency in a person's life, then there has been no sowing of commitment. Some people are best known for their inability to commit to a relationship, job, or church, but God wants us to be committed to the things that honor Him most. If you are married, He wants you to be fully committed to your spouse. If you are a parent, He wants you to be committed to your children. As an employee, be committed to the commitment you've made to your job.
