LOVE...
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does
not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely,
does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;
does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things,
endures all things.
For those of you who are curious, here's how we spent our
anniversary day: On our property is an old well house, the
size of a small room, that my husband has been working on
for a couple of years, turning it into a fort for the kids.
Recently he kicked up the pace to furious, for which I was
innocently grateful.
As the happy date approached, he informed me that all the
plans were in place for an overnight outing which included
the kids. As is my habit, I began worrying about the dogs,
the chickens, the cost... all of which he told me were under
control.
It almost became an argument because he was so blase about
all the details that I thought were important. Couldn't I
simply trust him, after all these years?
Ah yes, trust... I had to make a decision to trust him, and
that particular argument was averted. Praise God for love
that allows us to trust.
God Bless You!
