VISION

GUARD YOUR HEART

You should also guard vision, whether it's a vision for your ministry, career, future, family, or finances. A vision is simply getting a picture in your heart of what tomorrow will look like. A vision is the down payment on fulfilling your God-given assignment.

In fact, the Bible says that, "Where there is no vision, the people perish" (Proverbs 29:18 KJV). On the NKJV, it says that where there is no vision, people "cast off restraint." So, if you don't guard your vision, then you are throwing restraint out.

Guarding vision sometimes means keeping the voices of the naysayers out. People that have no vision of their own will do all they can to tear yours down. Don't let them! People who should be bringing themselves up ofter-times find it easier to tear other people down in hopes of bringing everyone onto the same level playing field. The problem with that is that God has called you to separate from the pack. You are sanctified (set apart) for God's expressed purpose. Don't settle for fitting into the crowd. The crowd needs a leader, and that's you!
