1 JOHN 4:18 BIBLE VERSE OF THE DAY

1 John 4:18 (NIV) - There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

We are surrounded by fear all of our lives. When we are young we are afraid that we won’t fit in with the crowd; when we mature we are anxious about getting the right job or marrying the right person. As we get older we are afraid that we won’t have enough in our golden years. But the Bible tells us that God casts out fear. When we face perfect love we are confronted with hope—a hope that drives out our fears because we know that God is in charge.
