JUST FOR TODAY

Today for just a few moments Lord let me lift my voice and say Thank You, Thank You for all You have blessed me with in my life.  Thank You for blessing and favor to be able to know You.  To be able to freely pick up Your Word, the Bible, and read of Your Love and also Your commandments to me.  Let me today,  just today strive to walk as You would walk, to strive to be all You would be, to look at others as You would look at them.  Help me Lord Jesus to be as You were and  still are today, just today.  And Lord when I stumble, or behave in a way unbecoming of what You would do, rebuke me Lord. Yes Lord rebuke me, so that I Lord Jesus can have a closer walk with You in every area of my life, just for today Lord, just for today.  In return Lord I make no false promises to You, I can only say today, just for today Lord I will try.  I will try just for today to walk like You Lord Jesus.   Tomorrow is not promised to me, so just for today I shall strive to walk as You.
