ROSE AND LINDA'S JOURNAL SUNDAY EDITORIAL BEHIND WHAT YOU READ
So you think we have it all together? You think our life's are perfect? You think that we do not face problems? What we do have is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ our Savior, but it does not remove problems from our life's.
We all face obstacles in our life's everyday. We have to live in this world, not be a part of it. There are times when as my baby girl likes to say 'They don't know, I haven't been a Christian long enough'. Even being a Christian for a long time, there are just some issues that come up and hit us in the face, just as they do you and everybody else. And yes sometimes we just don't handle it in the right way. So we repent and move forward, praying that the next time, and there will be a next time, we can handle it the way it should be handled.
So when you look at any of us that write, pray, preach and you think we got it all together, think again. What we do have is an instruction manual, the Bible, and it comes with the Writer Himself that guides us, corrects us, and most assuredly uses us where we are.
That does not mean we just sit by and wait for Him to happen. We read, study, practice what we have been taught. It is not an easy road to travel, but it is easier than traveling alone.
Don't ever think that you cannot be like those of us who are living for Christ. If you look behind you will see murderers, thieves, fornicator, liars, any sin you can think of, but we have been redeemed, washed white as snow. Most importantly now even with mistakes we yes still make, we are children of the Living God.
Do not use the excuse that you aren't ready, you need to get right first. It is not gonna happen until you turn yourself over to Him. Then He can start, that word is start, to do a work in you. And He will use you while He is working on you, just as He uses us.
God Bless
