SWINE/PIGS 

Matthew 7:6 ‘Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before  the swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.’

As much as we love dogs, these animals will chew up anything left down in their reach.  They have also been known to bite the hand that feeds them.  And we all know that dogs will eat their own vomit.  If you throw something down in front of a pig, he is going to trample it into the ground and then he will come back to the very spot he has trampled on and lay right down on top of it, because it has no value whatsoever to him.

Now we are not knocking your beloved pets.  We are dog lovers and have pets of our own.  We are speaking of the Bible and the scriptures that relate to being careful where we put those things that are most precious to us, which is or should be our love of Christ Jesus.  Most all of us have ran into someone that has such a perverted view of the Bible and Christ that there is no talking to them.  No matter what you say they are going to twist it into some of the most vile interpretations  you will ever hear.  We are not saying to deny the Lord Jesus Christ, we are saying to not carry on a conversation with that person.  Do not cast your pearls before the swine. Do not give that which is holy to the dogs.
