CONFESSION

The first thing that usually crosses our mine when we hear that word is sin. But there is much more to the word confession when it comes to Believers or to anyone for that matter. The words we speak do come to life.
John 1:9 [That] was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. This is wonderful and is positive. But confession of our faith is another whole step in living life to the fullest.

Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved
. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. This scripture means confessing Jesus. What we believe in our heart, we confess with our mouth.
Proverbs 6:2 Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth. What we say is our confession, and that the words we speak rule us. Jesus said they did.
Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Whoever shall say…Did Jesus know what He was talking about? Of course and what He said is you shall have what you say. If you really believe something in your heart and you speak it with your mouth you will really have it.
Most Believers/Christians are sincere in their belief in God and Jesus. They though have never really confessed what God’s word says about their life’s. That they are what the Bible says they are; that they are who the Bible says they are; and that they have what the Bible says they have.
All of us have at some time said “oh the troubles I am going through”. And as long as we talk like that, that is what we will have. Saying things like that is calling God a failure!
We have to learn to give testimony that expresses the faith in our life, not what we see, not what we hear. We need to give testimony and express who God says we are.
1 John 3:1-2 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
Romans 8:14, 16-17 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God
. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with [him], that we may be also glorified together.
We are children of God! We are heirs with God, joint-heirs with Christ. We are born of God, He is our Father. We should dare to take our place as His sons and daughters and confess whom we are.
Today confess who the Bible tells you that you are. Right now start to walk in who God’s says you are. Think about that word heir, joint heirs. That means that everything that belongs to Jesus belongs to us. Stand up and claim what rightly belongs to you.
God Bless,
