TEACH US YOUR WAYS
Psalm 119:33-34 (King James Version) 33 Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end. 34 Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
The more you study the more you know. I woke up with my day planned, and as of yet I have not touched anything on that list. I am alive, I am excited, and I am learning. Sounds like today is a me day?
It started with a comment on the site. What is funny is I had put something else on the end of the article and then changed it. It never ceases to amaze me the ways things work.
How many of us start out our day planning to do this or that and something comes up that changes all our plans? How many times do we get stopped on the path we are on, thinking this is tragic and the end result is better then where we were headed.
What is so good about that comment is the questions it raised with LJG and myself. How do others think and feel about this? Do others understand what this is and how it is in the Bible? So of course knowing what we do know and wanting to be able to prove what we believe to be the truth we had to do research.
What a blessing in the Lord this morning was. As always in research you come across things that lead you down paths that you weren’t aware of. You come across two sides of the coin with two different opinions, and of course the ones that say this is not so because there is no God.
Teach us the way of Your statues our Lord. Give us understanding. We desire to know and be able to explain why we believe as we do, because it is in Your Word; not of our own thoughts. Open up our eyes not only to You and Your Word, but give us the understanding to be able to present it to others so that they can see the truth.
Our day might not be going as we planned it, but Lord as long as it is going Your way, then all is well. It is not a me day, it is a God day.
God Bless,
rECj/LJG
