IF ANYONE THIRST

John 7:37-39

On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood
and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to
Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has
said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."

But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those
believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was
not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

Now it came to pass, in the days when the judges ruled,
that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man
of Bethlehem, Judah, went to dwell in the country of Moab,
he and his wife and his two sons. The name of the man was
Elimelech, the name of his wife was Naomi...

Ruth 1:1&2

And so begins one of the great love stories in the Bible;
reading it is a treat for the heart and soul.

There are many wonderful blessings most of us enjoy that
have become so commonplace we have a tendency to take
them for granted. Things like clean, running water that we
can adjust to just the right temperature with a simple flick
of the wrist; warmth in the winter and coolness in the summer;
every type of food that one can possibly imagine, fresh and
neatly packaged, as close as the nearest grocery store...

The list goes on and on. We miss them most when we don't have
them! Praise God for those everyday blessings; may the Lord
help us to be truly grateful!

God Bless You!
