HOW NOT TO STUDY THE BIBLE
No this is not the next part. This is today in my life. We always say that God works in ways that amaze us. I have a set routine of how I study. Yesterday and today have been off, to say the lease. Number 1 do not get so set in your ways that you can't do it another way.
My way is to get on the computer and research what I am studying or talking about. That includes printing out numerous pages before going to my next step. This includes getting coffee or soda and going to my desk [which right now is my bed]. Normally I would spread out on the table but I have company and they have to eat somewhere. The bed works great, I set my pillows up and then place within reach my Bibles [yes more the one] the concordance, dictionary's, a few helpful Bible reference books, paper, 2 pens, tablets, post-em stickups, high lighters and then I am ready to study. I shut the door, turn the fan on facing the wall to block noise, and start doing my research for my article.
Sounds like a lot. I don't want to scare you off, I do enjoy this very much and so does LJG. Alas yesterday is when things took a bad turn. The printer is out of ink, I have a desk top which is set up in the living room. Remember company is here. No problem I can still take my books and go in my room. But wait where are those books I use to study, oh yes they are with my children since after all I do have the computer. They are studying the Bible without a computer so yes I let them use them. Okay now I am without study tools. I am lost.
Do not misunderstand I have the basics down, it is the fine points that I don't know all by heart.
LJG and I know what we know but we research everything so what we print is factual. So to make a long story short, we are human. Forgive me, I will get more ink and my books back this weekend. I am a creature of habit. More then that, we both want to be clear about what we write. To do what we do takes a lot of time, so we can make it easier for you.
I am sorry, forgive me.
God Bless
