Any women can have a child, but it takes a Special Women to be a Mother. Each one of the women listed above was named for a reason. Their Motherhood has touched our life. The paths they have traveled have not been a bed of roses. There have been tears, heartbreak, and lost, but they have stood the test of time showing others the meaning of the word Mother. Many of them stood as Mothers to others when they were not asked, nor was it expected of them. They choose to act towards others with the love that only a Mother can show toward another.

Prayers lifted up to heaven

Diets that were really fasting for family
Never hiding your love for Christ
Teaching us His ways
Taking us to church
Letting us know that church
Is also within us
Strength shown in trying times
Joy departed
Giving of yourselves to others
Hugs given and received
Words of encouragement
A touch of your hand
Accepting without question
Gifts given in love
Questions answered
Cleanliness
Swimming pools and dresses
Promises kept
Wisdom and knowledge
Correction when needed
Loose teeth pulled
Bobo's kissed and bandaged

We have watched you with tears
Seen you part with those you love
Watched you pull yourself up
It is a honor to know each of you.

Happy Mother's day to each of you.

Lord Jesus we ask today that you continue to Bless each one of these women that is still with us. We ask Lord that you continue to watch over them and guide them to be a light to You and Your Word. Lord we were blessed to have each one of these in our lifes. Through them You have shown a light that continues to burn to this day.
