PUTTING IT ON YOUR CHILDREN

When the Children of God were getting ready to leave Egypt, the Lord told them the following. Read it and think on it for a mintue.
Exodus 3:22 (King James Version)

22But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye shall put them upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and ye shall spoil the Egyptians.

These people had been slaves for many years, we can about imagine the conditions they had been living in. Now they are about to impart on a journey and the woman are told to dress their children to the nines. Think how these children must have felt.

How do you feel as a child of Christ? When we accepted Christ as our Saviour we became a new creature in Christ. Though the outside may look the same to outsiders, we became dressed to the nine's. Are you still dressed this way, and are you dressing your children?
