SUNDAY EDITORIAL
What a blessed day this is that the Lord has made. If you read the articles last week, you might have noticed that they were short and sweet. This week I will return to what I love and that is explaining what we read in the Bible.
In front of me right now are about 50 pages of research that I have done on a simple question that my LJG has asked of me. She knows that I enjoy looking up the answers and writing them out for everyone to understand.
Now if you want to prepare for the upcoming articles you can go to the book of Genesis and read about the Ark, Noah and the flood. My study will be on Genesis chapter 7 verses 2 and 3.
The thing I enjoy the most about research is the tidbits of things I find while researching one simple question.
LJG's question to me was why seven of the clean animals and only two of the unclean?
Uncovered is did Noah's family need oxygen, after all the waters rose above all the land. Could the Ark really hold all those animals? What about plants? I like that one as I pour salt on the cracks in my sidewalk to prevent grass from growing, but if you stay with us you will find out the answer. What about fresh water fish? And how did the animals get to the Ark anyway?
All to be answered and more in the upcoming articles. So enjoy the day and lets get ready to look into those two scriptures.
To make you laugh I will share with you the comment of one of my friends grandchildren as she listened to us talk about our different children. "We only do what you allow us to do."
Kind of reminds me of my grandson's untrained puppy that no one has time to stay home and train properly. He only does what we don't take the time to teach him. Remember raise up a dog in the way he should be, oh that is children. What have you taught your child today?
Have a blessed day in the Lord today and everyday.
[Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.]
